Youth
Dance Programme
Never danced before? Are
you curious? Want to find out? Love dancing but haven’t
got anywhere to go? Want to perform? Try out new things?
These weekly dance classes
are fun and improve your dancing skills. After a warm up,
in which you learn how to use your body safely and become
stronger, you get the chance to learn new dances and make
up your own movements.
You will be able to do small performances
at certain times during the year, and will be encouraged to
attend Northern Ballet Theatre performances and watch the
company when they are rehearsing at West Park.
All classes are taught by Northern
Ballet Theatre staff and accompanied by a live pianist.
There are 2 classes held on a Wednesday
night: 100% for those aged between 8
and 10, and Ignite for those aged
between 11 and 13.
