Open Classes

Introduction to Ballet Class:
This class is for students aged 8-11 who would like to find out more about ballet. Classes cover ballet movements and technique and help provide an insight into our other Classical Training Programmes.


Ladies and Gentlemens Open classes:
Weekly ladies and men’s open classes are an opportunity for older students and adults living locally to NBT to access an extra weekly classical class. Participants must be of an intermediate foundation standard.
Interested dancers are invited to attend a trial class before being offered a place.S

Students can join any of the above classes on a termly basis.
Classes take place throughout term time at Northern Ballet Theatre’s studios on:

Ladies Open Class- Mondays 19.00-20.30
Introduction to ballet- Wednesdays 17.30-18.30
Gentlemens Open class- Thursdays 17.30-19.00

Course cost- £40 per term for Introduction to Ballet
                       £90 per term for Ladies and Gentlemens Open Classes
